Carolyn is an individual who has always been fascinated by the intersection between data and the world she lives in. After taking her first data science course in her freshman year of high school, Carolyn has been searching for ways to apply her newfound passion for statistics, whether it's through conducting research with college professors or running her environmental nonprofit, A Sustainable Future. Her love of data has since even evolved to ensuring that no fraction of female high school students remain underrepresented or discouraged from pursuing the STEM fields. This year, she is excited to build stronger connections, community, and opportunities for WiSTEM members, with the rest of the dedicated WiSTEM leadership team, WiSTEM ambassadors from across the world, and a plethora of new projects and partners by her side. In the meantime, she can likely be found reading, eating, or poorly singing Lorde in the backseat of her friend's car.

Landri is a senior at Dutchtown High School in Louisiana. She is the president and founder of the Women in STEM chapter at her school. She enjoys math, science, and computer science, and plans to pursue a career in medical robotics in the future. When not working on her coding projects, Landri competes in math and robotics competitions, and reads in her free time. Landri’s goal is to help close the gender gap and increase female representation in the STEM field. As Director of Outreach, Landri plans to help grow WiSTEM and share her passion for STEM with others.

Gulf Breeze Ambassador (Florida) Regional Outreach Directors
Nil is 16 and a sophomore at Gulf Breeze High School, FL. She is from Turkey and has dreamed of studying medicine and becoming a doctor since middle school. She wants to bring the WiSTEM program to her school and implement outreach programs for middle schoolers and high schoolers in her chapter. Additionally, with the help of WiSTEM, she also wants to help promote better opportunities for women involved in STEM such as scientists and mathematicians and also raise money to support research. Outside of the club, Nil spends her time playing volleyball and lacrosse, in national science competitions, and is hoping to compete in Science Olympiads this year. She is also the founder and president of the environmental Activist club of her school and is involved in many clubs/honors societies as a member or officer. She is currently in the process of starting an organization with the purpose of inspiring girls to STEM in her area (not affiliated with WiSTEM). Additionally, she also spends her time raising awareness for organ donor in her community as the first and only student representative of the volunteer "organization" with a group of healthcare workers. Lastly, Nil has been playing the piano since the age of 3 and will perform at the famous Carnegie Hall, New York this year. Apart from these, Nil loves spending time with her friends and family, watching the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team, European and Turkish football (soccer), and traveling!

Kaylee found WiSTEM through her robotics team, Roboken. She is interested in coding and engineering, but mostly coding(her favorite language c++). She would love to help give juniors and seniors opportunities' to talk to professionals in STEM, give everyone in her school insight in STEM, and help connect the younger school students with STEM.

Miranda Castella, a freshman at Escuela Americana, is the founder and ambassador for the WiSTEM chapter at her school in El Salvador. She is passionate about inspiring girls to pursue a future in the STEM field. She is a firm believer that the empowerment of girls and women through STEM will help improve living standards for Salvadoran families. 46% of women in El Salvador work, but only 4% work in STEM fields. She wants to make a difference to the community. Miranda is pursuing a career in computer science. She enjoys playing golf, baking, spending time with her family, and helping her community. She is known for being good hearted, passionate, and caring for others.

Jamie is a sophomore at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart and the current co-ambassador/president of her Women in STEM chapter. She is passionate about medicine, computer science, and astrophysics. Through WiSTEM, she hopes to empower, connect, and bring diverse opportunities for girls in her community. Outside of WiSTEM, Jamie takes part in many other activities and clubs such as the co-founder of her school's HOSA Chapter, JSA, and varsity tennis. In her free time she enjoys playing piano, conducting research in neurology, learning new languages, building her non-profit organization, and traveling!

Palak Mor is a junior at South Forsyth High School in Georgia and is the president of the Women in STEM chapter at her school. She is interested in statistics, marketing, and research. In her free time, she enjoys working with kids and spending time with her friends and family. As the Social Media Manager, she hopes to share her love of STEM with girls all around the world and extend the reach of the Women in STEM organization.

Anna is a junior and co-founded the WiSTEM club at Homestead High School with the goal of encouraging girls to go into STEM fields and learn more about the opportunities that exist for them while building a supportive community. She is interested in marine science and animal sciences. Anna is specifically excited about offering professional networking and opportunities for involvement for the girls at her school by bringing in guest speakers and connecting with local organizations. Outside of Women in STEM, she participates on her school's Science Olympiad and speech and debate team, and is involved in the community by serving on the Fort Wayne Mayor's Youth Engagement Council.

Coco Xiao is a sophomore at Orange Country School of the Art. Having a common inspiration with WiSTEM in her own nonprofit organization, she found WiSTEM and was drawn by the unique professional networking and mentorship. With her chapter, she plans to host guest speaker events, volunteering to do labs in local elementary schools, and host a collaboration with local STEM center/museum. Outside of WiSTEM, she is the chief outreach of GirlUp Irvine, an achieved UI/UX designer, and a robotics enthusiast.

She found WiSTEM through my school and new it was something she wanted to be a part of. Katelyn is passionate mostly about the environmental sciences and engineering. Shreya is a junior at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, PA. She has an avid interest in all things neuroscience and AI and hopes to pursue a career in the crosshairs of both one day. She is incredibly passionate about getting more girls into the various fields of STEM whilst also feeling empowered and supported. She'd like WiSTEM to enable girls in her community to connect with mentors and other professionals in order to get the advice they are looking for.

Ila is 16 and currently a junior at Rancho Bernardo High School. She is interested in Aerospace Engineering, which she hopes to pursue in the future. As a women in STEM herself, she hopes to encourage young girls in her community to pursue the field as well. Outside of the chapter, she is involved in her school's FRC team, as an electrical lead, a member of her school's iGEM team, and part of the varsity tennis team. She hopes to implement STEM outreach workshops for younger girls in the community, send STEM kits to underprivileged communities, and even write lesson plans for both local and international schools. She enjoys baking, watching comedies, and listening to Kid Cudi in her free time!

Amie is a junior at Northwest High School in Maryland. She has been part of her school's Women In STEM club for two years already and is finally making it a chapter of WiSTEM. Amie is particularly interested in math and computer science as she is the captain of her school's math team and an officer for her school's math honor society. This year, Amie would like to introduce more girls to STEM fields through speakers, mentors, and seminars. She would also like to create programs for younger girls in her community. Aside from WIS, she also enjoys drawing and playing the piano.

Audrey found WiSTEM by connecting with her peers who shared similar interests. Health sciences most interests her, and she enjoys the club because of the one-on-one mentorship and leadership opportunities. Audrey hopes to expand the mentorship program she designed with a local elementary school by increasing the member body and collaborating with other nearby schools. She wants to create computer science programs in school and facilitate more speaker events for the club so that both current and prospective members are interested by a large variety of topics covered in the club. Audrey’s other passions include journalism and traveling.

Phuong is a senior at Hanoi Amsterdam High School in Vietnam. She is interested in Physics and Robotics and hopes to pursue Electrical Engineering in college. Through her past experiences, she realized the importance of encouraging and inspiring young girls in her country to have the courage to follow the STEM careers. She wants to organize workshops and STEM teaching tours for Elementary and Secondary students in Vietnam to enable them to have a closer and more exciting look at STEM subjects. Through WiSTEM, she wants to create a network and mentorship program for young girls in Vietnam who are deciding on their future majors in college to share and learn about their fields. Outside of WiSTEM, Phuong loves singing and learning about different cultures around the world. She is the Founder/President of the Electrical Club SayElec and a singer at her high school musical and music club.

Anushree Marimuthu is a senior at Mission San Jose, and she found WiSTEM through participation in the ENVISION Research Competition and her school's club. As a person who deeply cares about both gender disparities and the STEM/healthcare field, joining WiSTEM was a huge step to finally educating and representing girls at her school to start speaking up and empowering them more. She also wanted to join to find her role models in the STEM field. Outside of WiSTEM, you can catch her running at Cross Country/Track and field practice, playing her flute, and hanging out with her friends.

Dianah Suzan Akello, a passionate STEM enthusiast, discovered WiSTEM on Twitter(X) as she was following up some posts about YouthMappers programs. Her STEM interests span the realms of technology, climate change & mitigation, and Mathematics. As a WiSTEM ambassador, Dianah envisions implementing programs and events to foster inclusivity and learning within her chapter.
Three of her ambitious ideas include a STEM mentorship program, an annual hackathon for women in tech, and an eco-friendly STEM outreach initiative for local schools. Eager to grow both professionally and personally, Dianah looks to WiSTEM for professional networking, valuable college advice, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a leader in the STEM community.
Beyond her involvement in the club, she's a leader at her college at the University alongside being an active member in various student-led associations within the University.
